Super Bowl 2012-Adriana Lima vs. David Beckham

It is quiet ironic that we just had an accident where sexism was linked to women in sports.  In the sports world, especially football during the Superbowl there are always commercials shown that make viewers rave.  Over half of most viewers only tune in on the first Sunday in February every year just to see the special "COMMERCIALS".  So, this year the famous clothing store/brand ,H & M, decided to change up who their audience was gear towards.  This commercial featured David Beckham in white boxer briefs and shirtless exposing all of Beckhams edgy tattoos.  Even though the point of this commercial was to sell a pair of H&M brand boxers for 12.95, it ended up being one of the most controversial commercials ever.  Other post and blogger's stated that they where offended or caught off guard by the commercial. Many men, in particular, felt that it was inappropriate for them to air a commercial like this, especially on super Bowl night.
Its funny that some viewers feel this way, because that same night Adriana Lima was also shown in a commercial and to be honest she wasn't far from just wearing whitey tigthy's. So now, I ask you to be the judge.....

My point is, I guess if men get pleasure out of sex explicit commercials, its ok.  But when its aimed to entertain the women audience, it will always be a problem.
